I finally have to admit.... I am getting old... yikes! Yes, I am... a gray hair here and there, needing more coffee in the morning to wake-up and and getting the menu at the restaurant two inches away from my face so I can read it is not funny... and not pretty either.... But I still love a little gray hair here and there... should I say sophistication? Oh... and if you are wondering, I am 37 yrs old. So I decided to come to Moss Opticians as it is conveniently located a few blocks from my house or a 2 minutes drive. I made an appointment and a few hours later, I was in to see the doctor. A very thorough test includes glaucoma and many others. The doctor is super nice and makes you feel very comfortable. After a while doing all the tests, the inevitable happened, I do need glasses!!! Yikes... After the final tests, I sat down with a very nice technician who spent a long time going through at least 75 pairs of lenses and helped me picked up the right one for me. We went through all of them, Calvin Klein, IZOD, and many others... too many to count... However, I do know that going to a big chain eyeglass store, I could have same some money, but in this place, the staff is so attentive, nice and welcoming that feels more like an extension of your family. With all the options for your glasses (reflective coating, UV protection, etc) plus test, it came to $463. Break the piggy bank! Ok, I lied... my insurance will cover most of it... but it still a big whooooaaaa.... My appointment was on a Tuesday. I was told that my glasses will be ready Saturday afternoon. I got a call on Friday morning that my glasses where ready to be picked up. Super nice! I do give this place a 5-star rating for their professionalism, friendliness, great attitude, and attentiveness. Will highly recommend this place to anyone in the Huntington area. And they specialize in children needs too!!!!
