We had a very unprofessional experience with Peter Hogan for personal taxes. They forgot to submit our taxes to the Fed and NY State and we had to scramble at the final hour to find someone to help us. We had been with this firm for six years. It was awful. The person who Peter had assigned to do the work (when we called the night they were due to find out why they had not sent the documents to sign as they usually do) screamed expletives at me and hung the phone up. Peter never responded to our emails or our multiple voicemails. They charges us $600 for the services and then told us "we are not a good fit for them." My husband and I had an extremely unpr ofessional experience with this firm for personal taxes. We were with them for about six years and this year we provided our documents as usual and they literally forgot to do them. We had to call the night before they were due and when we spoke to the woman who was assigned to work on them and asked what was going on she started screaming expletives to me on the phone and hung up. Our accountant that has overseen our account for years, Paul Hogan, did not return our calls or voicemails. Finally we found another person at the firm by scrambling through old emails who said she could do them in an hour and she got enough of the work complete so we could pay the IRS and NY State before midnight to avoid penalties. It was extremely stressful and the firm charged us $600 for the service and never apologized. We are mystified. Don't go here. We are looking for another accountant now.
