Tiffany Suhr is a fairly new stylist at Hello Beautiful, but fits in perfectly with her bubbly personality and exceptional skillset. I have seen her twice in the last 5 months for a color & cut. She is a perfectionist and does a fabulous job from start to finish! The salon is newly remodeled and has a relaxing and comfortable vibe. I love the pop-up shops and everything about Hello Beautiful and will definitely return! Thank you!!!
Reviewing for Victoria at Hello Handsome (not to be confused with Hello Beautiful, the larger salon that Hello Handsome resides within).
Everything about my recent first visit was perfect: The space is nicely set up in a private side room, which is very quiet and relaxing. Reviewing for Victoria at Hello Handsome (not to be confused with Hello Beautiful, the larger salon that Hello Handsome resides within). Everything about my recent first visit was perfect: The space is nicely set up in a private side room, which is very quiet and relaxing. I immediately knew I was in good hands when I heard the cozy sounds of Lo-Fi on the radio. Victoria is personable and pleasurable to chat with, but most importantly, she is highly professional. She has years of formal training in men's haircutting and it shows. I am something of a haircut hobbyist, having watched many hours of haircutting tutorials and documentary-style videos from around the globe from the world's best barbers. Everything Victoria does is in line with these methods, from the way she cuts to the way she folds and applies a hot towel. On my visit I requested a haircut, beard trim, and mini-facial. The haircut was damage control on a very poor cut I got a few days earlier at one of the dime-a-dozen barber shops in the area staffed by guys who have no idea what they're doing. Victoria perfectly fixed what was a butchered haircut into a clean, sophisticated (but not fussy) style. Next was the beard trim - at home I do it myself following the method taught by Matty Conrad of Victory Barber & Brand. I was surprised and delighted to see that Victoria followed this same technique of freehand shaping and trimming, which had the result of a properly shaped and angled beard, rather than just running over everything with clippers set to a specific single length like other places. Lastly was the mini-facial - what can I say? My wife and I just had our first kid a few weeks ago, so stress levels have been through the roof. Sitting for 30 minutes while Victoria gently massaged my neck and face, applying creams and hot towels, made me feel like a new man. On the way out, I told Victoria that she has made a customer for life. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the services and quality she provides. Back in NYC where I used to live, a comparable level of service would cost 2-3x at any quality shop, e.g. Fleischman, which I used to visit regularly. Guys, do yourself a favor - stop messing around at the bottom-barrel places and take the step of letting yourself be groomed by a real professional. You deserve it.
