I can't say enough about how special this space is. Master Eyler truly understands how to work with younger children, and if his older students are any indication, his skills continue to more advanced years. He was incredibly generous and patient with our son (age 3.5) as he worked through his feelings on starting in martial arts (3 classes of sitting on the sidelines refusing to participate, a month gap, and a final enthusiastic return) as well as with handling the often challenging behaviors of rambunctious young ones in class. I can’t say enough about Master Eyler’s karate program at Trinity Martial Arts. As a parent and a teacher, it’s a privilege to attend his classes as an observer each week. Not only am I impressed by the rapport he builds with a huge number of students, but the respectful and assertive communication he maintains with each child - regardless of their level. My child is in a beginner’s class - students come in at all different levels with all different backgrounds. We aren’t sure karate is our kid’s “thing” but we know he’s getting a lot out of being a student at Trinity.
