I have been working with August and the Freedom team for almost 20 years. They are knowledgable, take their time to explain things to you and can provide insight into tax saving opportunities. Over the years I have recommended them several times and many of my friends and relatives are now regular customers too.

I am responding to the 1 star rating below. As someone who worked with Jerry and his amazing staff for over 11 years I feel the need to tell you Jerry and his team have a very specific step by step process they follow for every client. The not filing right away you are referring to is actually their 4 day holding period. After you come in to sign your taxes you return is held for 4 days just to be on the safe side incase they get that last minute call "Hey Jerry I forgot to tell you I have another w-2 or oops! I forgot to tell you I sold my house or oops! I forgot to tell you I contributed a large sum to charity Oops! I changed bank accounts 6 months ago". As you can...read full review
