Dr. Goldberg is an optometrist in Hempstead providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Goldberg provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Goldberg is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Goldberg is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Goldberg works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses.

I have going here for a long time it started primary out of the convenience in location…yes sometimes it’s hard to get a through on the phone but it’s because it gets busy and the ladies are extremely helpful and take there time with you, Dr.Goldberg always explains so many ways that I can help with improving my vision and it has helped me. I just wish that they would keep my prescription contacts on hand being that I’ve been coming for so long and I don’t like that I have to wait for them,but that’s about it.
The doctor seemed excellent to me. But two months ago today my son went to the consultation and he was prescribed glasses and the glasses still haven't arrived. I call and they tell me they will arrive in a week and nothing and I don't think they will take that long to arrive. It's something. ridiculous that it takes so long.
