I am deeply disappointed with my girlfriend’s recent experience with Heir Theory. She had to cancel a scheduled service (just short of a 24 hour notice) due to a sudden medical emergency that landed her in hospital. Despite explaining the situation, they still charged her a 50% cancellation fee— which was reduced to 25% if she could reschedule within a certain timeframe. A timeframe of 2 weeks, without even knowing the circumstance, or asking if that was feasible (which it was not).

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. My friend regularly gets her hair done here and is an exceptional client. There was an unplanned EMERGENCY and she was in the hospital and had to cancel with just short of 24 hours notice bc obviously it was UNPLANNED for her to be in the HOSPITAL. They charged her 50% of her hair extension fee and had the audacity to tell her they would apply 25% if she made an appt in the next 3 weeks. Without giving away her personal business, SHES ILL. This is despicable and I hope people will spend their money elsewhere. Absolutely GROSS.

My daughter had an appointment here and I cancelled the day before (a bit less than 24 hours) as she was in the emergency room of the hospital. She has been there for several days and Nikki had the nerve to charge her 50% of her hair extension service. My daughter is a very loyal customer, is always early, never cancelled and always tips above 20%. If my daughter was able to, she would be posting this herself. This is dispicable. I would think being in the hospital for an unplanned emergency would be an exception to the 24 hour cancellation fee.
