An amazing experience when I went in here, I was honestly shocked after what I had experienced in other places around this small town...everyone was so kind and helpful and yes some things are pricey but what I need the price was right on and cheaper than home lol ?????????????❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice to have local mom and pop stores instead of the big chain ones. Prices may be a bit higher but it's convenient for us as well.
We have been clients of GCAH for years with multiple animals. We have never had anything other than an amazing experience. All the vets truly care about every animal and ensure they feel comfortable throughout the appointment. They’ve always answered all of our questions with 0 judgment and endless patience. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
I called Audrey’s yesterday on a whim, she got me in today and gave me the best hair cut I’ve had in YEARS or maybe ever?? And by far the best price!!

It is so very hard to lose someone in your family. When my brothers and I lost my Father, we really did not know where to begin or what the process was. My father had wanted to be cremated that was the extent of our knowledge. Zirbel funeral home (CNY Cremations) was recommended to us. We met Art, the owner, he immediately put us at our ease at one of the most difficult times in our lives. He took care of everything, death certificate collecting my Father from Kendal and posting the obituary we had written. We really cannot thank Art enough, all we can do is express our thanks through this review. Thank you so very much Art.

Our very dependable lawn guy stopped doing lawns this year to focus on his family. We hoped to find someone equally dependable and as efficient. After our search and some not so great experiences, we found Next Level Landscaping. Chris, the owner, is exactly what we hoped for. He did a fantastic job on our not so easy to mow lawn. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic landscaper.

An absolutely wonderful practice. I take all 4 of my animals here, we have had exceptional care. The staff is patient and kind, the pricing is accessible and they prioritize the care of animal. I am so pleased to have found a convenient and affordable vet practice ??
Jim is highly experienced and you know when you work with him that he is a good guy. He knows what he is doing and has decades of experience. He is someone who my manufacturer recommended who could complete warranty repairs. Not all HVAC folks are willing to do warranty work on systems they did not install. Jim was willing to do this, which was incredibly helpful as my installer was no longer in business. Last fall, a warranty repair was needed to get my heat going. He worked with the manufacturer to ensure the part was covered and was prompt in his work with the company and installed the part within a week.
The Barksville Inn saved my day when I had to make a last minute trip back to home out of the US during the holiday season, when multiple boarding places I contacted were totally filled up. Not only I was lucky to find a place with vacancy at this busy time, but it also turned out I could not have chosen a better place for my two pups, especially with one of them requiring special care. One of my pups is a rescue from a hoarding situation, who is very timid and nervous with new places, people, and dogs in general, but also is terrified being left alone, and needs daily medication. Given the situation described I was so worried about leaving my pups for the trip, but the caregivers at the Barksville Inn listened to all my detailed instructions patiently and tentatively, and assured me that they would take good care of the pups while I was gone. Thanks to their flexibility with the drop off schedule, I sent in the pups earlier than my actual travel date to make sure everything would go smoothly. When I paid a visit after a couple of days, I gladly found both pups settled in very well. The home environment was perfect for my two pups, with the more social one making friends and playing with other dogs there, and the timid one feeling safe and sleeping in a heated blanket on the couch. During my one month of travel, it’s especially heartwarming to receive picture and video updates of the two pups playing or snuggling with one of the caregivers. It was such a relief that I had chosen the Barksville Inn for my two pups, so I could leave without any concern, knowing that they were well taken care of!
