Charles is the best!! Brides!!! Great Neck and all brides do not even consider booking with anyone else other than Charles! If you have super sensitive or horrible skin he is the best! He did both my sisters' weddings and his work is beyond flawless and very very professional. He is a true artist and very talented! He goes above and beyond. When my sister's veil got left behind and we only found out when everyone was seated for the ceremony you can imagine everyone was panicked and hysterical. Charles was the only one who remained calm, ran out to the florist to grab toule, and started sewing up a veil!!!' Things naturally go wrong at weddings and when they do this is the person you want on your team. He is a human being, he will make you laugh, and he is just there for the bride. He stays calm when everyone else is panicked. He is a wedding savior!! And unlike so many other professionals he is not pushy or lazy or try to talk you out of something bc it may take too long or too difficult for them. And his work is so so good from the hair to the makeup! and wow wow does he know how to make eyes pop! My wedding was last minute so Charles was booked by then. He came in early just to work on me! My biggest regret was that I didn't have him the whole day. He asked me what I wanted and I just said Charles you know what you're doing and you're good at it. Just do your thing. I gave him zero instructions. As a bride to be able to sit back and relax with something so so important is such a gift! And I have very very sensitive and difficult skin! Acne marks and scars, oily, flakey, mature skin. All makeup cakes and separates on me. I have pores. Etc. and my lips I'm allergic to everything but Vaseline. I stupidly a week before my wedding used a minty balm on my lips and by wedding day my lips were dry flaking and cracked. CHARLES IS A MASTER OF HIS MAKEUP!! MY SKIN AND LIPS WAS FLAWLESS!! He did a combo of airbrush and other things. Keep in mind I didn't even go in for a trail as I just didn't have the time in my schedule. My skin was flawless!!!! My eyes my oh my does he have a way of making eyes just pop so beautifully! Makeup was lightweight, natural, eye popping. And my lips..... I bought his lipstick and clear gloss and zero reaction. If you have allergic or sensitive skin his products are for you! My sister also has lip allergy and she only uses Charles products. My makeup lasted to the end of the night with minimal touch ups. To be clear, he is an expert and an artist for both bridal makeup and hair. He doesn't need instructions for hair or makeup. And he will do two hair styles regardless of the time it will take. He is kind and there for the bride. Book him for the whole day. You will be so thankful you did.

I love VS1 ;but as a doctor I find it horrible that clients and some staff are not following the mask mandate, big sign on front of store but no one cares. We in the health care field are putting our lives on the line every day and the least you can do is wear a fkn mask!!!!!!

My first time there. It was the morning after the hurricane. I did not expect them to be open. They were open, professional and courteous. Thank you Sam and the gang. I would recommend VS1.
