I have known Kelli for a very long time and I would not trust anyone else with my dogs. We had adopted a very fearful/ anxious pup and needed a ton of help. We had a met with another trainer (generously donated) before meeting with Kelli and it was not a positive experience. The minute Kelli came over to meet with Sammy it was like a switch flipped and he has since thrived. Kelli meets the dogs where they are at and truly caters the training them their needs. I will never go with another trainer and she is a lovely person.
Taking a moment to share some love with The Pit Chic and owner Kelli. I've collaborated with Kelli on training and care of several rescue dogs. She is professional, caring and compassionate. And, not just to the dogs but to the people attached to them. In a rescue world, that is very hard to do. While others get burned out or bitter, Kelli has been able to see good in people and pets and help however she can.
We foster dogs that are housed at this shelter and I just want to say how seamlessly these shelter dogs transition into foster/home life with MINIMAL adjustment. Each dog we’ve had from this shelter has had minimal to no accidents, kept their kennels clean, are very well kennel trained, social, friendly, and happy/loving dogs. Their behavior is truly a testament to all of the work Kelli and her staff put in to making sure the dogs housed in shelter are very well cared for, and most importantly, loved!!
