GWEN Rosenthal, previous owner of Village Hair, has been cutting/styling my hair for abt 10 yrs now. When you find the best you keep going back. She recently moved to Upper Cut on Greenwich Ave in Goshen NY. I drove 1.5 hrs from Danbury, CT to have her cut my hair, and at lunch an hr later I got my first compliment on my do. Gwen is phenomenal, and would follow her anywhere. Worth the trip to Upper Cut!

I believe that few people are prepared for the loss of a loved one. After being a caregiver for two years and watching my loved one in pain it was a welcomed relief as they passed. These guys did an amazing job and went above and beyond! The job was local and required a second run to pick up a second load from the house we moved from. Rather than waiting for the next day, they wanted to complete the job and worked late into the evening after an early start. A hard working and dedicated group! They also did a great job protecting walls and furniture.

Last Wednesday, we left Macon, Georgia, in our Tiffin RV and headed north. We were on I84 E and within two hours of our destination. All of a sudden an indicator light came on on the dashboard. One that we had never seen before. Our RV is on a Ford chassis so I searched for a Ford truck service location and found out that we were within 20 miles of Healey. It was Friday and we took a chance that they would have time to check out our issue. We arrived and explained what had occurred why we stopped. The service office did not hesitate to see what they could do for us. Next thing we knew, a technician was headed out to our RV, taking time to asset our problem. With his technical assistance, we learned that the light actually indicated we were now set for towing a vehicle - which we never do. A great result for us and very much appreciated. It is difficult to find service when you are traveling and not familiar with what might be available. Thank you Healey for being an outstanding example of what service should be. Your customers are fortunate to be serviced by your team.
We were in town for a wedding and I decided to get a last minute haircut. Rolling the dice, I trusted the positive Yelp reviews and went to G&C. What a great cut! My barber was very friendly and generous with suggestions of local sites to visit. He knew I was from out of time, but took the time and care to give me a cut as if he was trying to earn my loyal return business. Highly recommend!

It has been several years since I've gone to a salon and gotten services as I always ran into the same issue - I would ask for something and get out of the chair with something totally different. This was the first time in 32 yrs that a hairdresser listened, heard me and followed what I wanted. Gwen is THE BEST!!! I got my hair done before going on vacation in October and it came out PERFECT! Gwen was so kind, conversation was easy and she SLAYED! With over 20 years experience, she is an expert color mix artist, she knew exactly how to get the color I was looking for (which was unavailable via book) I cut over 10 inches off so I was pretty nervous about it but it came out great!!! I didn't even cry, which usually always happens when I sacrifice any real length. The salon is right on the main strip of Goshen so easy to find, lots of parking nearby and very comfortable.

My wife and I really enjoy going to this gym. It's not only super close to where we live (very important) but also clean and well-managed. We generally avoid busy times since we have a flexible schedule and rarely have to wait for equipment. They have two squat racks which you can also use for bench presses. Two full sets of dumbbells, plus several machines. 80% of the time I'm using free-weights, but I do use the leg press and pulleys from time to time. I'd say that they managed to fit a good selection of equipment into a small(ish) space. Jane is great, excellent customer service. And the owners even occasionally get new equipment based on customer feedback (recently a seated calf press which I definitely voted for!). Overall, great gym.
