Pet Boarding Training near Goldens Bridge picked by BestProsInTown

“My previous vet in Cross River put my pet through unnecessary exams and inconvenienced us with irregular hours. Despite their posted schedule, I arrived on three separate occasions only to find the clinic closed and locked. Moreover, they showed disrespect towards my easygoing, elderly father. But since discovering Goldens Bridge Veterinary Care Center (GBVCC), those issues are now history. In stark contrast, Dr. Immerblum and his team at GBVCC prioritize animal well-being and are mindful of costs. They went above and beyond to obtain my dog's records from previous providers and ensured our comfort throughout the transition. During our initial visit, Dr. Immerblum dedicated more than an hour to getting to know my dog and answering my questions. Unlike my previous experience, GBVCC is reliably open during regular business hours, with staff available until midnight and even later for emergencies. The difference is remarkable. Their recommendation from a neighbor was spot-on, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I can't express enough how wonderful they've been.“

“Sending my dog to Tim was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My dog, Bailey, is a senior pup - she'll be turning 9 this year. It just goes to show there is never a time that's too late to try and work on training with your dog.Tim has a phenomenal approach to training that put me at ease very quickly. He's extremely knowledgeable, very in-tune with dogs, and understands that every dog is different and has a different pace of learning. Aside from general obedience, I sent Bailey to work with Tim because she has a lack of confidence and was reactive to other dogs on walks. It was hard seeing her struggle in certain situations or get stressed out. I sent her to Tim for a full 4-week program. When she came back, of course she knew things like heel, place, come, learned boundaries, etc. Those were all things I expected as I'd gone through them with Tim beforehand. The things that were so wonderful to see was that she can go on walks now and not get aggravated by other dogs or get stressed out by dogs passing. She has much more confidence and it's only helped other anxieties she has - the more confident she is in herself, the more she's okay not being attached to me and fully depending on me.The other thing that's so great about Tim is he really makes sure you're set up for success when your dog comes home. In addition to the detailed emails he sends along the way of your pup's journey, he spent a long time with us practicing commands, walking, and gave me printouts and emails that had all the information in it. He also has so many video resources. And even better, he goes into explaining why certain tactics work and why your dog responds well to certain things. He dumbs it down into language and something I can digest and really understand. Although it's immensely difficult to be apart from your dog for 4 weeks, I always knew Bailey was in good hands. Between his emails and the Instagram updates, I always knew how Bailey was doing and was reassured. She came back happy as a clam. I'll be utilizing Tim's boarding program from time to time when I need to go away for sure.Thank you, Tim for everything you've done for Bailey!“

DogWatch by Petworks Pet Boarding Training

“High quality products at a very fair price. The Dogwatch remote training collar and controller I purchased is the best I have ever used or seen (used and seen many). The proprietor took time to go over it with me in a very caring and knowledgeable manor. The device is very user friendly and much more comfortable for my dog. I also picked up a pound of bully sticks. Nice store!!“

The DOG Pet Boarding Training

“We can't believe what The DOG accomplished in three weeks with our 7 year old hound mix. He characteristically displayed an exuberance everywhere, with everyone, at any time. They returned him to us with the same exuberance, only instantly responsive to a whole array of commands that neither of us could possibly have achieved while working full-time in and training him on the side. And we haven't even gone through the post-training one on one sessions that the group provides.Furthermore, the sense I get is that the dog really enjoys the structure and exercise of our min-training reminder sessions back at home. This group is absolutely worth every dime they charge, and probably much more.“
