I have been coming to this place for years now. I always have Anna do my hair, and no matter what I ask for and always comes out looking terrific. Some salons do a decent job but you sit there and there’s no conversation. With Anna there’s always great conversation. She is a wonderful person and I would recommend everyone to get their hair done by her.

I make the two hour drive to Gloversville whenever I can to have Anna do my hair. Never had a bad cut and whenever I've had foils done, they were perfect! I highly recommend her!

I have been going to J&R since they first opened back when I was in highschool. That is over 15yrs ago. They may have moved down further in the arterial plaza, but the atmosphere is still the same. The ladies all know myself and family members. Everyone I know that gets their hair done there, have never complained and always praise them. Kristine has been there since the beginning and it is always nice to see her face and still apart of the business😊
