e-trade is the worst brokerge firm in the America. They will lock you out of your account for NO REASON then you try to access your account the Nighmare starts. BEWARE THIS A A SCAM COMPANY. They open your account with restrictions then they will restrict it use. NO internet cannot buy and sell stock the only thing the restiction allows to transfer account to another brokege firm .You then open an account at another broker who requests the transfer. The only communication you are allowed is call a customer service repr. You wait 2 weeks and no transfer after you call in. They rejected the transfer no reason given then they say they removed the restriction, but this is a lie . They make you play a game. They say they removed the restriction but again your new brokege firm requests transfer, Same thing again and a 3 rd time. now 4 months go by you cannot see your account or have any use of it. Then you call one more time and they say you can transfer to another e trade account your mother has. So you will give your stock to your mother as a gift. You request the transfer to your mothers account thats rejected. Get this they now close your mothers account and close her account. 5 months now only they are sick of you trying to retrieve your stock so they call PROTECTIVE SERVICES AND FILE A ABUSE CASE AGAINST YOU. This is the law on there side there new trick to use the investigator to do there work free to harass you. The police come out to investigate abuse they say is happening ( all made up lies) They cannot be prosecuted for filing an abuse case. Its the law . after the police come to your house then the next day the protective service investigator comes out to write up there finding. The investigator calls the police while they are there and the police are there as a witness. This is using the police and protective services to harass and waste my time . I have over 100 hours trying to retrieve less than $2000 the stock because in 5 months has lost $500 in valve. Decided hiring a lawyer for $1500 no lawyer will take a penny case. They know how to run a scam on these accounts for less than $5000. Waring GET OUT OF E TRADE before they decide to steal your account. Hope this benefits some people from opening a scam e trade account. They have in my view stole my money and I cannot ever get my stock back. I have filed 11 government complaints to no success they are not there to help you but to take a paycheck home every 2 weeks and sit behind some paid for tax payer desk and do nothing to help tghe consumer. Very sad our government allows this thief. Beware DO NOT open an e trade account you have been WARNED......

It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Sergio Nicolosi, Matthew Mott and the Genesis group at Morgan Stanley garden City. First Matt Mott duped me into transferring my accounts from Etrade to Morgan Stanley. he then bungled the transfers, causing me to loose money during the process. Now it's been two months that my account is frozen and I do not have access to my money. They have stopped answering the phones: matt Mott, Sergio Nicolosi, Linda Murphy and Peter Costello. Practically speaking, 20 years worth of savings at Etrade has been inaccessible to me for two months now at Morgan Stanley and no one responds. I.e., for all practical purposes the money is gone.
