This place is a true gift. I have a Doodle who is afraid of so many things but he is not afraid at Jerzey’s! He is so happy and confident at day care. We are so happy to be a part of their pack!
The only place I bring my pups, otter is a totally different dog since going to Jerzeys, he was very reactive to other dogs where I couldn’t bring him anywhere in public with other dogs, Kristen and Casey worked with him and helped him overcome his problem ! He is now able to go anywhere with other dogs and is now a Therapy dog and goes to school in South Glens in their after school program every week! This is the Best place for daycare and Boarding where you can feel secure in your dogs care where they have tons of fun and never worry about them at all…Otter goes every Monday for the last 4 years and will be going forever!
I am so proud of Vinnie who experienced Jerzey's Dog Resort for the first time yesterday. He arrived early in the morning for a trial at overnight boarding Monday night that exceeded my hopeful (dare I say somewhat desperate) expectations! The women at Jerzey’s Dog Resort are the best! To put it in perspective, Vinnie previously had a pretty horrible experience at another boarding facility that shall remain anonymous. I felt so bad leaving him there as he looked terrified and depressed watching me from behind their glass door as I got into my car to drive away. The next day I called to ask how he was doing and learned he had not eaten and the staff were too afraid to walk him. Since I was still out of town I asked Lynn Stewart to pick him up because he was so stressed. Boy was he glad to be rescued by Lynn! The experience at Jerzey’s Dog Resort however was (most thankfully) completely different. They discussed Vinnie at length with me in two advance phone calls in preparation of our reservation. It was clear they wanted to plan the best way to make Vinnie feel comfortable at his own pace, and create a positive experience for both him and his anxious mom. I knew he was in trustworthy hands from the moment I dropped him off. His countenance was completely different from the prior drop off at the other facility. He looked interested in following Christine and Casey into the Resort, and didn’t even look back at me - a very good sign! Vinnie has little experience playing with other dogs, and one of my goals was that he be evaluated to see if he might eventually be successful playing with the other dogs. My goal is to get him enrolled in their weekly doggie daycare program if an opening becomes available. Well a picture is worth a thousand words and I have attached some that completely warmed my heart and filled me with joy. His paws hit the ground running and amazingly he was able to mingle with the Monday Daycare dogs and it was a great success! The report was that he was a little unsure and shy around these new friends, but was respectful with no concerning behaviors. I hope to collect many more photos as he continues to build his confidence with new people, places and pups during future stays. A big shout out to thank Christine, Casey and Rachel at Jerzey’s Dog Resort for creating a clean, safe and caring home away from home where our furry kids are welcomed and are free to play and have fun. These ladies clearly have the best interest of their clients (both canine and human) topmost in mind. I am breathing a deep sigh of relief that we have been so warmly welcomed to their Resort! Vinnie and I have both been more than a little exhausted after a very exciting yesterday. We have largely assumed the couch potato positions of the last few photos the entire day today! Thank you Jerzey’s for everything including the photos pulled from your Facebook page!
