We have only good things to say about Tom and Ringwood Electric. Tom listened. He came on time. Ours is an old house with challenges, and Tom figured out solutions. Reasonably priced.

As we are new to the Ithaca area, we picked Tom Gudeman from Ringwood Electric based on his good reviews. It's important for us to have local contractors near our home. Tom was very organized and efficient in explaining the process and giving us different options to complete the job. The installation of the Reliance transfer switch and exterior 30 amp power inlet for our generator was done by someone who is very professional and who takes pride in his work.

This is the best residential electrician I've met in the 42 years I've lived in Ithaca. Tom Gudeman is a super intelligent specialist, who speaks to the customers to make them know and understand what is involved in the project, why some things need to be done in one way while other things are best done differently, etc. You never feel that he is telling you something to advance his interests or convenience--you really feel that you are in the presence of an expert who shares his knowledge. And if you respect his schedule, he will respect yours. He has done a small project and a big project for me and my friends, and I'll never call anyone else.
