“Had a great experience at Dr. Scalp. When you arrive they give you slippers to wear (recommend bringing your own socks if you are in sandals) and the space is very clean and comfortable. The people who work there are so nice and make the experience very relaxing. They start the process by taking photos of your scalp close up with a microscope camera lens. Then a series of different solutions they apply to the scalp. Then a long steam and a lot of shampoo and scrubbing. This was the best part. Then drying and more solutions. The whole process takes about an hour and 30 minutes-ish so plan accordingly.I’ve struggled with large flake dandruff and build up on my scalp for years and I never thought getting rid of the flakes was possible. Even went to an Aveda salon in Manhattan to do a similar process. The Dr. Scalp process was way more thorough and longer. There was a closer attention to detail too.First time clients are $178 and then after that it’s $128. Plus tip (I brought cash for this).
