I've heard too many "you have to try my nail lady out" and "so and so is the BEST" in my life when it came to mani and pedis... from way too many women - and men who have no clue what a TRUE mani-pedi say should feel like. I don't condemn them, they've just never experienced May's Nails. My boyfriend, of all people, found this gem in Maspeth and I've been hooked. Fully staffed, friendly, and clean are the vibes you'll get straight off the bat. They offer different tiers of pedicures from regular to add ons, etc. I always get a regular pedi in the winter but I love a good gel white toe for the summer! Tommy is a nail god. He works with so much precision, handle and care. You get to choose from 3-4 different SNS color selection books with practically every color on the spectrum. After your manicure, you receive a fantastic little back and neck massage - totally needed after sitting through the process - at no charge. I highly suggest making an appointment in advance as they get booked up very quickly and don't typically accept walk-ins. My nails usually lay me around 3 weeks before they start growing out and need to freshen up. This is a nail salon I can def stand behind. Bravo May's!

Speedy and beautiful job. Hanna knows what she's doing and she does it well. I haven't left a nail salon happy with a full set in a long time. Happy to have found this place.

Well, I was very impressed at the speed, cleanliness, and prices at this place. I couldn't get an appointment with my regular place so I asked a neighbor who recommended Susan. Well I will definitely go back here!
