Tina is an amazing hairstylist! I had a bad experience with a previous hairstylist that didn’t listen to me and darkened my hair so I was pretty nervous finding a new one. She answered all of my questions and really listened to what I wanted and delivered a beautiful color and style. She is very talented with blonde hair. I love it and won’t go to anyone else.

This is a little hidden salon right on Bowne Street. It is located right below street level. You will see a flashing light outside and some sketchy looking steps but you will be greeted by a very friendly staff that calls the lady in charge Eun ni. You can tell she is the lady in charge because she accepts the money. There is a mix of girls here who speak Spanish and Korean and of course English. I have actually been here a few times but the first time I came here it was for an emergency manicure. Yep emergency manicure sounds very drastic but it was the day before my wedding and I was told that I HAD to have a manicure. I had to work late that night because I was going to take 2 weeks off to go away after the wedding and I realized that I had to get this manicure. and of course my boss was not going to let me out early and would not understand about an emergency manicure. So I walked up and down the streets of flushing and went into about 8 places and they were all ready to close up or they only did haircuts or facials but I needed a manicure so after I was about to give up and walk my sorry butt home I stumbled upon this place with the lights still on. Apparently it was 10 minutes to closing but this very friendly korean girl decided to help me at the last minute. She did a very good job on my french manicure that looked perfect for all of my pictures. It was so cheap but I was very grateful so I tipped her almost as much as the manicure cost. They also have a small hair salon inside but I have never used their services. I have since been here a few more times to prep for special occasions. it is not the nicest or fanciest and they will not serve me cocktails but they do have hand dryers and do eyebrows and some other things and of course if you need an emergency manicure this place will help you out. It seems as if they are closed on Sundays so try to avoid that day they must be church going folk.
