I came to this salon after a friend highly recommended Tony—she had a consultation with him and was really happy with her results. I had previously spoken with Tony about fully bleaching my hair and came in for the service yesterday.
When I arrived, Tony actually brought me to a nearby spot, Graceful Hair Salon on Union Street, where he worked with another skilled colorist (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name). They both seemed very experienced and worked efficiently. My family and I have been coming to this location for years. Even when I lived in another part of the country, I would wait until I would come home to visit to get my hair cut here. It's a barber shop run by Taiwanese women who do a great job! They listen to your wants but also give recommendations / suggestions. They offer perms, hair coloring, washing, and cutting. The women are very friendly as well. Cash only. Make sure to always give a tip as well! They deserve it.
I've been getting haircuts from them since I was a kid. They moved to the new location that is a little smaller, but if feels very bright and spacious. The colors are also very cheerful. They also put plastic partitions everywhere to ensure safety. I had a great experience at their new location. It's the same people, same great haircuts, and same great service! I usually go to Amy, but I've tried other people when Amy wasn't here, and the haircuts were still pretty good. I highly recommend them!
