Brought my 14yo dog Satchel here today with an eye infection. Even though this wasn't my usual vet they fit me in. Thank you Dr. Mucera. Everyone was kind, caring and professional. Looks like I may be changing vets.
I came in on a Sunday Morning for the first time time. My usual vet was closed, and I found Animal Clinic of Queens though Google/Yelp. I suspected my dog had a UTI and didn't want to wait to have her seen. I called around 11am and they said I could come in for 1:30 but there may be a wait. No problem! I arrived at 1:20 and was home (10 minute drive) by 2:30! The doctor was friendly and very kind to my pup. They gave me antibiotics and gave me peace of mind. The best part though was the affordability. A last minute appointment, with prescription to take home, was $88. That's unbeatable. I love my regular vet, but would absolutely return here.
There seem to be a few questionable reviews on here, but it was still the closest vet to me that I could get an appointment with, so I decided to bring my cat here for dental treatment, and honestly they were great. They see a lot of animals, but you can tell that the front desk is doing their best to balance appointments. Compared to prices the last time I was quoted on dental work and went for vaccine boosters, blood work and a health certificate to fly (in SF), I found this vet to be priced very reasonably. From what I saw, the veterinarians and vet techs also really cared about animals. My cat was having a hard time with grooming due to diet affecting her coat and also tooth pain. Unknown to me until later, while my cat was under for her dental surgery, they brushed and removed some knots that I was having trouble getting her to let me fix. I saw Dr. Thomas as well as another doctor whose name I didn't catch but the second vet was so loving and gentle with my cat and even gave her a kiss on the nose during our post-surgery follow-up. Other than that everyone was incredibly kind and promised me they would take great care of my cat, and they did. Will be coming back for as long as I live in the area.
