“My nieces cat has had terrible allergies for a year. Her last vet just kept giving steroids and didn't recommend blood work or much else. A colleague referred me here and we have been blown away by: 1) the empathy on the phone 2) the availability for an appt 3) the time Dr.Tara took to listen to the background, review records from the former vet, and explain a strategy. He's performed four surgeries for four different pets in my family, treated various infections and illness in our pets and provides services when emergencies arise, even when he's on vacation across the country. “We just wanted to leave our deepest, heatfelt thanks to Dr. Cassidy Gillum. She has helped us and our cat through the last leg of his journey with grace and care. This isn't how we wanted to meet, but we couldn't have asked for a better, more compassionate professional to have helped us through this very difficult time. We always felt listened to and that both we and our pet were deeply cared for. Dr. Gillium was honest with us and was patient with our questions and gave actionable, clear, kind feedback. We never felt like we were just a number or the "next in line" with her. I don't think there is an impatient or condescending bone in her body. Although we no longer have any pets to bring in, and our hearts are broken, we had just the right person to guide through this we could have possibly ever ask for. With her help we were able to fully understand the situation, the available options, and were able to make sure his final couple of weeks were as comfortable as possible. Although we are devastated -we know we had everything we needed to make the right choices and have no regrets. Dr. Gillian comes with our highest of reccomendations, and we wish her nothing but the best.“

“***Neuter Experience*** In adopting my dog through a pet adoption organization, they were able to connect me with Long Island Animal Surgery for a reduced rate in getting my dog neutered. He healed very well and the medical post care steps were very helpful. The only thing that was of concern was that his leash was not returned, and he did come back where his face was a little drenched.“

“Highly recommend. Use to take my pugs there for all the vet needs and was awhiles taking care of. Unfortunately my pugs passed. I have a pitbull now and was using another vet until my dog was in so much pain she couldn’t walk. That vet told me they can’t get her in for two weeks and if she’s in that much pain she can be on the waiting list. Minded I wouldn’t be calling if she wasn’t in pain. I brought her here the whole 6 years I’ve had her so far minded. . Called dr templeton office and they asked me about my dog cared about how my dog feels and her pain level didn’t have an app to the next day but the lady Lauren understood my dogs needs called me back and got me in the same day. Now my dog is up this morning walking and happy. And I can’t be more grateful and thankful. 5 starts all around. Everyone should bring their pets here.“
