“I used AGP Kitchens and Baths on Merrick Rd in Seaford to remodel our bathroom. They completely gutted it and redesigned everything in order to make it accessible for my wheelchair-dependent child. It is absolutely stunning. It doesn't look like a typical accessible bathroom. They were able to design a bathroom that has all the appropriate safety measures in place while still giving it a spa-like feel. I can't thank Agie and Greg enough for creating such a wonderful space for our family. Their workers were punctual and worked hard every day to make this happen. I will forever be grateful to them.“

We first went to Carpets & Us on April 1, 2024 via a recommendation from a friend. While working with Nancy and Carol I received a telephone call that my brother had passed away. I had never met these two wonderful ladies, but that afternoon I received a condolence food delivery from Ben's arranged by Carpets & Us. (I had never used them before: just met them: and they spent their time and money to express a condolence to a stranger.) My wife and I spent hours at Carpets & Us looking at samples and having Nancy send swatches to the house. We finally settled on a carpet and the price at Carpets & Us was more than competitive. As great as Nancy and Carol are, the installer that they use, Wilson, was equally as fantastic. Wilson and his brother George install carpets, paint, and perform numerous other jobs. “I stopped in to Cancos in Hicksville one day to look at tile for our new kitchen project that we were working on. I did not have any idea what to do with a small piece of quartz that I liked in my hand to show someone for help to match a tile too. There we met a lovely very professional saleswomen named Salika Stinson. She was not only patient with me she was extremely helpful and listened to exactly what my vision was and what I thought I needed to make my kitchen project come together beautifully. We were very tired and confused as to what to do because we had just moved into this home. Salika realized how much this kitchen meant to me and that I needed to feel better about what I was doing in this kitchen and how to match the decor so it goes with the rest of my new home. Not only was she pleasant and patient she knew exactly what tile to show us to go with that small piece of quartz and how to match things to it so that my kitchen would come out as beautiful as I imagined it could be. Everything she suggested was perfect and so beautiful and went together amazingly. I even called her after that day for help and she was just as helpful and kind. Thanks to Salika and her amazing talent for design, knowledge and color my kitchen has turned out so beautiful and matches the rest of my home beautifully. I would recommend Salika to anyone who really does not know where to start with their home project she really is amazing at design and Cancos needs to know she is an asset to their company. They are very lucky to have her in their Hicksville store. I did call to tell them this already. After a disastrous experience with a previous contractor, it was extremely difficult to find someone to take over a project which a less experienced contractor had botched. However, from the very beginning, Summit Remodeling put me at ease with their professional and transparent approach.Their team was skilled, efficient, and communicative throughout the entire process. They provided regular updates and made sure I was informed about any changes or unexpected issues that arose. Most importantly, they were able to fix the mistakes made by my previous contractor and turn my renovation nightmare into an excellent experience.Believe me when I say - There is no perfect contractors. Construction is chaotic, messy and nerve wrecking. What you need is project managers who will align all the stressful pieces, handle it themselves, and have clear timelines. Lorraine is very efficient. She visits the jobsite almost every day. Jen is on top of every detail, and Toni always makes sure she will get back to you efficiently. It is important to have people who see minor details all the way through to completion. Most of all their prices for unexpected changes were very fair, and I really feel they do not look to take advantage of you.Yes there were bumps in the road, but during construction there will always be unexpected things that arise. But the Summit team dealt with those bumps in a professional way, and gave me fair and honest options to remediate.
