He snaked the line and then sent a camera into the pipe to show me what is causing the backup. He said that the roots from my tree on the lawn were growing into the line causing the pipe to become blocked. I asked about reaming the pipe and unfortunately because it's Orangeburg it will collapse if I try to ream it. He suggested replacing the sewer line from house to street. I'm having them come to give me an estimate this week along with a few others.
