Donna, the owner of the salon, is the only individual that understands the way my hair works. I have been going to barber shops for the past 20 years and just so happened to be referred to Donna at Strands while I was visiting New York and I couldn't be happier for going there. After having a horrible experience from another hair salon with bleach, I call Strands Salon right as they opened and they picked up immediately. I explained what happened to my hair from the previous salon and asked if they had any openings that day. The girl who picked up my phone was extremely kind and booked me an appointment that day with Tori. Tori was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, experienced, kind and gentle. Tara always cuts my hair in the style that makes me not feel frumpy I’m 65 but I look like I’m still a fun person because of how much time she takes. Great atmosphere just I’m so happy to have found this hair salon having just moved here from Texas. Plus she understands that the higher, the hair the closer to God.
