I had not visited this office in four and a half years. I needed to update my prescription. I called for an appointment and with a predicted storm coming was able to choose from several cancellations for the next day. I arrived on time and had a very short wait time. The first person that saw me did what needed to be done and I then saw the doctor. I was given the most thorough and complete eye exam. She took "extra" time to precisely determine my new prescription, taking additional steps to tweak the assessment for maximum accuracy. Throughout the professional exam she maintained a pleasant conversation to ensure my being relaxed and her understanding my history. After the exam was completed I was directed to the fitting area. The gentleman who handled choosing the frames was relatively new there and advised me of the options available. I found frames that I liked at a reasonable price and was fitted. I paid the charges and scheduled next year's appointment with the helpful and pleasant receptionist at the front desk. In ten days I received a call telling me the new glasses were ready. I was able to visit the office within the hour. The lady that met with me handled the final adjustments of the glasses to my face/head. Again providing service as pleasant and professional as one could wish for. As I said above, I had not been to an eye exam in several years, so I did some online checking before rescheduling at Twin Tiers. I have to say I was almost reluctant to schedule after reading some of the reviews posted. I am glad I returned. I understand everybody has different expectations and experiences, though having never posted a review before, I felt motivated to share my experience.
I HAVE BEEN WITH THE TWIN TIERS EYE CARE ASSOCIATES FOR MANY YEARS, AND I HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE DOCTOR THERE, AND THE STAFF HAS ALWAYS BEEN MOST ACCOMIDATING. THE RECEPTIONIST HAS ALWAYS BEEN PLEASANT, AND IF I HAVE HAD TO RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT DUE TO MY MANY EYE SURGERYS, I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS. PAT KOCIK
Had similar experiences as other reviewers. Rude staff, doctors were totally uncaring of my situation, would have preferred to have been treated with a little more caring. Told to just try some things to see if it would fix itself when I know for a fact that are treatments that can be done. Interesting that another person said they didn't have an appointment - that happened to me TWICE. Both times I went in and they (Binghamton) said I didn't have an appointment that it was for another day. I never make mistakes like that. I enter the date of new appt. immediately while standing there with my phone. I could understand once - but this was twice. Seems a little odd to me. Especially since it's happened to someone else.
