The service is great. They do hair amazingly however they are inconsistent with their pricing. One day it's $40 for a wash 'n set, the next time I'm there it's $60 for the EXACT service prior.
I love love love my stylist Lucy! She's been my girl for about 20 years. She knows exactly what I want, and my hair always looks amazing. I trust her immensely! The shop is always clean with wonderful energy.
I have been going to Dominican Sisters Hair Salon in Elmont, NY for YEARRRRSSSS!!! It is always magical. The place has a good energy about it, and so do all the ladies that work there. I have kept my hair natural (without any chemical straightening process) for 12 years now, so I appreciate the love, care, and patience that goes into my hair whenever I do get it blown-out/straightened there. At the close of each styling session, a smile is brought to my face. Not only do I leave with beautiful, well-cared for hair; I also leave with my spirits lifted for the time I spent with these lovely people! I would give this place FIFTEEN stars if I could!! ?
