“Kim is a godsend! My last haircut experience at a different salon wasn’t too great. I feel like she heard that and made an extraordinary visit for me! Judging (which I don’t normally like doing) by the way she handled herself and the scissors, that’s just how she is though! Fantastic visit! Would give more stars if I could.Requested style: Showed her a photo and she cut until it was like looking at the photo in the mirror. Exactly what I wanted. Even added suggestions I wouldn’t have thought of to fully create the look I hoped for.Specialties: I now know where I’m going to get my brows waxed ($8), my husband’s hair trimmed ($18), my son’s first hair cut, and eventually my daughter’s done. I think those are $15 for ages 12 & under.Hair type: My hair is temperamental and moody, but Kim calmed it right down. And the products she used smell great!Stylist: Kim Card was phenomenal! Totally vibed with her!“

I asked the community, who was the best person to go to to help her learn how to handle her curls and give us the best cut for textured hair. “I love coming to The Grow Parlor and spending time with Justina. Her space is so welcoming and she is an amazing stylist. I love all the personal touches in her salon -a hot cup of tea, calming music, amazing scalp massage and toasty red light to relax under while my hair is processing. I could easily fall asleep in her comfy chair while she's washing my hair. “I’m so glad I found Vitality Salon for hair and makeup services for our August 2023 wedding! Sam Husner and Amanda Callahan were fabulous makeup & hair artists, respectively. They traveled to our venue (the Treman Center) and completed HMU on mothers of the bride & groom, 4 bridesmaids and the bride. They finished everyone ahead of schedule!!As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup generally (which was the case with most of the bridal party as well), Sam and Amanda understood exactly what I was envisioning (natural, “you-but-elevated” look) for everyone else. I also completed a hair & makeup trial about a month before which was really helpful, as we found that a certain pair of false eyelashes looked better on me than another. I was also touched to receive not only a tube of my lip gloss color for touch-ups later (which will probably become my go-to brand/color!) but also a small emergency pack of tissues, blotters, and other items. Most importantly, the hair and makeup stayed put until all was said and done, about 10-11 hours, and didn’t budge a bit when the inevitable tears came. Definitely recommend Vitality for any upcoming wedding!“

“I got married on 9/23/23 and Gabi was wonderful to work with. She traveled to Watkins Glen to do on site hair at the airbnb we rented. At the trial, I showed her some inspiration photos and she asked follow-up questions to clarify exactly what I was looking for. She sent a message asking how I felt and how my hair held up after having it done all day. The day of my wedding, all I had to do was sit down in the chair and she nailed it! My hair lasted all day even with putting the veil in and taking it out as well as it being a humid/rainy day. My bridesmaids and my mother were also all thrilled with their results!“

“I came into Costco cutters about a year and a half ago with a terrible haircut that needed repair. Emily has guided my hair from a very bad haircut to a fabulous repair and on for the next year and a half of taking care of my hair better than anyone else has ever cut it. I have several challenges, including a wild cowlick that doesn’t obey anyone. Despite the fact that I am terrible at describing what I want, Emily just seems to know instinctively what I need. I have a girlfriend who scoffs at my going to Cost Cutters as if it were a lower bargain brand. And she pays up to $100 for a haircut that to me , honestly, is just a haircut.
I will keep coming to Emily until she retires.
The shop is clean and bright and inviting. I have no hesitation to recommend Cost Cutters to anyone with hair!“

She makes sure to go through hair care and tips so we get the best out of our services and is always super kind and fun to go to for hair color and cuts.
