They are 4 and 2, and I was struggling with the older one getting nervous, and both of them fidgety when I cut their hair, so decided to try a professional. He was great with them - had some candy ready for them which kept them motivated/occupied, and talked to them on their level. The shop is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The kids hair looks great and they keep talking about the barber shop.“

“I wait to go here every time I know ill be in town. They even take a hair vacuum and run it over your hair and shirt to clean up the cut hairs. Works so much better than when they try to blow or brush it off. I can actually do something after instead of having to right home and shower to get it all off. Love the old time feel. Very friendly. “I Love this place, They are such honorable people, I was able to pay in advance via venmo so I would have money to pay for my haircut and lyft money to get there and back home. So I wouldn't have all my subscriptions to take my money before I got to my appointment. I went on a Saturday and it was a perfect time. I called the Barbershop and mel Quan answered and he took my venmo payment and told me he would give the money to Jesse my barber that has cut my hair 2 times so far. I had my picture in my phone ready for the cut I wanted and jesse did a good job with mimicking it. They take cash and cash app payments also. I like to budget so my hair cut was $35.00 and my lyft was budget was $30.00 I saved it in my payment dashboard.So if yall trying to get back in the work force or you just want good vibes when your getting your hair cut. This is the place I promise you. Also shoutouts to them at the shop for being honorable and professional at all times. “This review comes a little late as I was serviced here 2 weeks ago, nonetheless I want to openly discuss my experience here. Elijah cut my hair, and when I say he performed magic on my head that is without exaggeration. Recently, I cut my locs off of 3 1/2 yrs due to some thinning in my crown area.Elijah prior to any cutting was very generous on my thoughts about areas of concern. During execution his composure, skill, respect and level of hospitality were supreme! What he provided me was more than just a haircut. I stepped foot off his chair with an esteemed image of myself, with a renewed level of confidence that was seemingly absent before due to those recent life adjustments surrounding my hair.We exchanged contact info, and I will be requiring his expertise soon again to keep a fresh look!PS: my only criticism here is not of the act of being serviced, read my above statement if you are debating as to or not, but of service hours and contacting the shop. On multiple occasions I drove down (during the early afternoon) to get a cut as their google page confirms they are open, but upon arrival the shop is closed. Additionally, reaching out via the phone number(s) listed were lacking in terms of connecting with someone there. Perhaps these are areas that need to be re-evaluated.“
