“I have been going to Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital for many years. After my last dog passed (she was almost 17!), I knew as soon as I got another dog, I would come back Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital. And I've finally done it - I have a new puppy and she's already a patient there! We're both so happy that Dr. Mendelsohn continues to be available. I love everything about this place and am so appreciative for the informative and patient staff. Here's to many more years of an amazing family vet! :)“

“The process was straightforward. Dr. was respectful, transparent, and willing to discuss any of our concerns. It's taken me some time to write this, but I am thankful for the experience in-home. Getting our boy's remains was a quick turn-around and hassle-free. In home euthanasia is not cheap, but Zen Dog is moderately priced. I recommend if this is an option.“

After repeated visits to our regular vet., and Bear still scratching and keeping me up at night, I decided I needed to do some homework and see if there was such thing as a veterinary dermatologist, and guess what, there is, that would be Dr. Jeanne Budgin, on the upper west side, not to far from Bear and me. I have to tell everyone how happy we are that we saw Dr. Budgin and her dedicated, wonderful team, so informative, and kind, they took such a detailed history about Bear! After a few tests, and some medication for Bear, I'm actually sleeping at night! Bear's happier too, not scratching all of the time. Bear and I thank you! Dr. Budgin and her team are awesome, I highly recommend them.“

“Over the years I have searched for the perfect Veterinary practice. My search is over. I am so happy to have found County Animal Hospital. Dr. Robert Weiner and all of the staff are wonderful. My 2 dogs Hercules and Cleopatra love going for a visit. Hercules is a healthy dog but my Cleopatra had some issues a few years back and I rushed her to see Dr. Weiner. He was able to diagnose her intuitively at first and then the lab results confirmed exactly what he diagnosed as Kushings and Diabetes. Dr. Weiner litterally saved Cleopatra's life. Now, several years later her Kushings and Diabetes is well managed because of Dr. Weiner's incredible diagnostic skills and his caring manner. I highly recommend County Animal Hospital. Everyone there is kind and very professional. Every detail of my experience with them is so deeply appreciated. They literally are life savers!“

In this age of veterinary practices being taken over by big corporates, it's so nice to still have doctors like Dr. Lovisa who takes the time to personally connect with her patients and genuinely care about the animals.Multiple times she offered treatment, and recommended specialized diet based on newest research which resulted in significant improvement in my dogs' quality of life.During an emergency, I was able to reach her and ask for advice. She was the only one I trusted with my dogs and as always, she came through for us. Even afterwards, she took the time to write me few emails and even a personal note after the passing of one of my dogs. “PVH has people who care...I want to thank Dr Bauer personally for just being "him" - I am a first time dog owner. Since Kaycie was 8 weeks old, he has guided me through this incredible dog journey. "Little things" like: rub your finger in her mouth with baby food so she gets used to your finger in her mouth. Now, at four years old, she allows me to brush her teeth with no problem. I can't tell you how much I trust his advice as well as the staff for their incredible knowledgeable and love for pets. “I Love Dr. Salas:) she is very sweet, always so friendly and happy to see my pet and me. She never rushes or feels bothered by my many questions and we have talked about many dog related topics. So the experience here has been good for the most part. I only wish that the office overall had better pricing. Maybe its because they are located in a well to do neighborhood and all the surrounding towns are also somewhat high end. I have spent quite a penny(lol) since I started taking my pet there more than 2 years ago as a puppy of 2 months. The spaying alone was over $700 not to mention vaccines, yearly physical, sick visits, and a whole host of other things for a dog that is now very large. I once told a tech that the estimate she was giving me was unfortunately a bit too high. She was nice enough to make a price adjustment by letting me know that a certain exam or vaccine was not necessary at the moment and i could do it later, so the price went down by a lot. But that got me thinking that maybe the exams that I am told about are not all necessary. I would continue to take my dog there but I want to try to find another place that is good and reasonably priced. As for the staff, some of them are very nice. But some of the front desk girls are either indifferent or don't seem genuine and I hate to say that bc they have never been outwardly rude but a person just knows.“

“We love DR G. He's caring and knowledgeable. I've been seeing him since the 80s at the time we had cats. The last 14 years he's taken care of my dogs. It's not an office with several vets, it's him alone. He's like your small town Dr. you don't find them much anymore. Not for people or our pets. I'll continue to see him until he retires.“

“Dr Barotz is a real find. She is the best of both worlds; a Cornell Vet school graduate and extremely knowledgeable in a Chinese medicine approach. She believes in both, each complimenting and supporting the other. That's what I wanted and need for my best friend and little boy, Trooper. On top of that, she is happy to work with a patients' regular Vet and studies their medical records thoroughly. She has a gentle, caring manner and spends the time to fully explain her analysis, opinions and reasons for her recommendations. Dr Barotz has a 360 degree approach and the education, knowledge and experience to carry it out. I am so very happy to have her at our side through what is a very tough time. My Trooper has liver cancer. Thanks to her, I have a much better understanding of how I can give Trooper's body more support and comfort, as well as other options I might have for his care. I wish I had known her when I first adopted Trooper 11 years ago, through sickness AND health. I think we can take better care of our little friends with her full approach.“

“What an amazing Veterinary Practice! We brought our new puppy to see Dr. Maida last week for a puppy exam and to discuss vaccines and her general health. He did a thorough exam on her and told us we can bring her back this week for her booster vaccine and a checkup. She had her booster vaccine today and while we were checking out she threw up. Dr. Maida and his staff jumped into immediate action assessing little girl and confirming she was having an anaphylaxis reaction due to the vaccine. They immediately treated her with steroids and fluids and monitored her until she was stable and ready to go home. They continued to check on her and us and answered every question we had with compassion, kindness and understanding. We were both extremely nervous as we had never seen this happen and she is a tiny 2lb 12 week old puppy.Emergency aside, Dr. Maida is an extremely knowledgeable and patient vet who answered every single one of our questions about our new pup and helped us make appropriate decisions regarding her care. The office and exam rooms are clean and all of the staff are kind and welcoming. I have never felt so comfortable with a Veterinarian and if you live in the area, they are worth a visit for your pet.Thank you so much Dr. Maida and all of the staff at Closter Animal Hospital.“
