I have seen 3 chiropractors that did not help me with my bulging and herniated disks in my lower back, before going to Dr. Striano. Dr. Striano is one of the few Chiropractors that has two spinal decompression Machines. These machines slowly pull the the spine, taking pressure off of the spine, increasing blood flow to the disk and to help decrease the disk from pressing on a nerve root. The design of these very expensive machines are based on science, and they really help reduce back and neck pain and speed up the healing process. In addition to these spinal decompression machines, Dr. Striano uses manual adjustments, EMS, therapeutic massage devices and suggested exercises to strengthen weak muscle groups. He is the author of a very nice illustrated book called: Healthy Back Anatomy. He has one of the best equipped practices in the area, with so many device to relieve your back pain. Treatment of back pain is a multi-prong approach, using the best Chiropractic techniques, exercises to build core strength and if needed, Physical Therapy sessions. I have been seeing Dr. Striano for over 18 years; for treating my lower back issues. His treatments have been keeping me from having back surgery and they have reduced the bulging disks in my lower spine keeping me from doing all my normal activities, with vert little pain, He so dedicated to helping you get out of pain and his patients are his top priority. He is a chiropractor with decades of experience and some of the most sophisticated equipment to treat back pain.

I started seeing Dr. Striano after getting physical therapy for a few months, weeks of acupuncture, two cortisone shots and numerous visits to an orthopedist only to be given prescription after prescription of medication I did not want to take. The last recommendation from a reputable orthopedic surgeon was one last epidural injection and then surgery to the spine to relieve the herniated disc that was causing the numbness to my right arm and persistent pain in the neck--again something I did not want. I felt I had tried everything including pillows of all types of support. Finally, I visited Dr. Striano. After several decompression treatments, the numbness began to lessen to the point that I felt better. I finally stopped treatments because I felt so much better. It's been at least a year and a half. Recently, I started feeling the numbness again. I called Dr. Striano and was given an appointment within a couple of days. I've had 4 decompression sessions since and again, I am starting to feel less numbness and pain. Dr. Striano works around my schedule which is also very convenient. So, although I normally don't post reviews, if you are feeling similar symptoms and have been told you need surgery, try Dr. Striano and decompression therapy. It may help you too.
