“I have been going to Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital for many years. After my last dog passed (she was almost 17!), I knew as soon as I got another dog, I would come back Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital. And I've finally done it - I have a new puppy and she's already a patient there! We're both so happy that Dr. Mendelsohn continues to be available. I love everything about this place and am so appreciative for the informative and patient staff. Here's to many more years of an amazing family vet! :)“

“Over the years I have searched for the perfect Veterinary practice. My search is over. I am so happy to have found County Animal Hospital. Dr. Robert Weiner and all of the staff are wonderful. My 2 dogs Hercules and Cleopatra love going for a visit. Hercules is a healthy dog but my Cleopatra had some issues a few years back and I rushed her to see Dr. Weiner. He was able to diagnose her intuitively at first and then the lab results confirmed exactly what he diagnosed as Kushings and Diabetes. Dr. Weiner litterally saved Cleopatra's life. Now, several years later her Kushings and Diabetes is well managed because of Dr. Weiner's incredible diagnostic skills and his caring manner. I highly recommend County Animal Hospital. Everyone there is kind and very professional. Every detail of my experience with them is so deeply appreciated. They literally are life savers!“

“I Love Dr. Salas:) she is very sweet, always so friendly and happy to see my pet and me. She never rushes or feels bothered by my many questions and we have talked about many dog related topics. So the experience here has been good for the most part. I only wish that the office overall had better pricing. Maybe its because they are located in a well to do neighborhood and all the surrounding towns are also somewhat high end. I have spent quite a penny(lol) since I started taking my pet there more than 2 years ago as a puppy of 2 months. The spaying alone was over $700 not to mention vaccines, yearly physical, sick visits, and a whole host of other things for a dog that is now very large. I once told a tech that the estimate she was giving me was unfortunately a bit too high. She was nice enough to make a price adjustment by letting me know that a certain exam or vaccine was not necessary at the moment and i could do it later, so the price went down by a lot. But that got me thinking that maybe the exams that I am told about are not all necessary. I would continue to take my dog there but I want to try to find another place that is good and reasonably priced. As for the staff, some of them are very nice. But some of the front desk girls are either indifferent or don't seem genuine and I hate to say that bc they have never been outwardly rude but a person just knows.“

Answered all questions about my Ariel and gave here a comprehensive examination. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Would give 100 stars if I could. “This is a very kind and casual vet. Really lovely people front to back. The only downside is how busy they stay. This is at least partly because they always give you the time and attention that you and your pet need when they're with you. But they do a great job of managing the chaos and getting to everyone eventually. They so clearly love your pets too.“

“I changed from Yorktown Animal Hospital to Thornwood Animal Hospital due to the distance from my home, and it has proven to be the best choice for my pup. Dr. Patel and the staff are fantastic, caring, and always create a positive atmosphere. My dog usually gets anxious at the vet, but here he appears to be at ease and even enjoys the visits. The level of professional care is exceptional. When my pup fell ill, Dr. Patel personally called me with the analysis results and has consistently been available when needed. Without a doubt, it's the best veterinary hospital I've experienced. Outstanding work and service!“

“I have brought my rabbit here. There are a lot of pros to Dakota for a rabbit owner. Dr. Stanzione is one of the most experienced rabbit vets in Westchester, and Emily, one of the vet techs, probably knows and cares more about rabbits than 99.99% of vet techs on the planet. I find that the staff is always kind and professional. As someone who has brought my rabbit to several rabbit-savvy vet practices in the area, I find that Dr. Stanzione and Emily are more willing to think outside of the box on creative solutions for your pet, and they also charge a little less (not to say animal care is inexpensive, but I've done some price comparisons of the same services at other practices). The biggest con here is that Dr. Stanzione only works Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and he also sometimes takes weeks off. If he is working, the practice will work hard to squeeze you in if you have an emergency, and I appreciate that, but if he simply isn't working, you could wait many days for a rabbit appointment. For this reason, I've had to sometimes turn to other veterinary practices for my rabbit in emergencies. But whenever possible, bringing my rabbit to Dakota is my first choice.“

Very minimal wait time and the staff is always friendly.
