I needed to have an old, run-down shed and ground-level deck removed, and considered doing it myself with a few friends. However, I just happened to pass by the Rip-Out Artists truck on the way home from work one day in Huntington and decided to reach out. From initially calling to describe the job, to the initial on-site consult and the work itself being done, Rob (the owner) was professional and extremely communicative. Typically with situations like this you may expect difficult communication or lack of follow-up, but Rob kept in constant contact with me. Knowing I had other work that had to be done on the house first (electrical), he was flexible and able to move the job date as needed, and then quick to schedule me for the demolition when the other work was completed. On the day of the job, Rob arrived precisely at the time he said he would the day before, kept me constantly updated throughout the day on progress, and completed the entire project in less than 8 hours. He was on the job site for the majority of the day, and even let me know when he was going to have his employees take a break, or if he had to go off-site for a bit. At the end of the job, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were no hidden fees or sudden additions to the price I was quoted (cash discount too!), and even more surprised to find my entire yard was immaculate - there wasn't a single nail, shard of glass or piece of wood debris left behind. The dirt in the area where the shed and deck were previously standing were smoothed over completely. The post-job cleanup was by far one of the most amazing aspects of this, as I had had all of my windows replaced throughout my home by another company several weeks earlier that left nails, screws and debris all over my property. Rip Out Artists didn't leave so much as a splinter of wood behind. I cannot possibly recommend Rob and the Rip Out Artists any higher - job very well done with the highest level of professionalism.
As a kitchen and bath designer, it is imperative to work with trade experts that one can trust will help represent your brand by adhering to a high standard of work and service. Rob of Rip-Out-Artist is one of those experts I had have the pleasure to work with since 2010. Rob, the owner, is at every job; his knowledge, meticulous care and preparation paired with professionalism is outstanding.Aside from the many positive feedback from clients, I can also attest to this by the recent work they did at my own home, removing a non-working chimney. It was done in a way that nothing else was touched and the removal was close to surgical. I would not trust anyone else with such...read full review
Rob and his crew took out a huge fireplace and chimney that ran up the middle of our 1929 cottage. T hey took the time and effort to put plastic coverings over all the doorways and hallway openings to contain the dust and dirt. Every bit of debris was removed and they vacuumed and cleaned up so well after the job was finished. We were dreading this part of our renovation but to them it was business as usual. Rob planned every step of the way and he and his guys did such a great getting the job done. We can't say enough about their professionalism and attention to detail. And yes Stan and I highly recommend their services!!!!
