We live in an older home and had trouble with bouncy sagging floors. We contacted a Jim at Affordable Basement Solutions and he setup a time to meet with us to offer us some suggestions on what to do. After examine our basement, he offered us a viable solution. He and his partner Eddie installed six Powerpost floor jacks with engineer fill footings. They also removed an old worn exterior door and sealed the space with cement from and sealed it with the original foundation. The floors are no longer bouncy and are level again. Jim and Eddie were both very professional and explained clearly everything they were doing. They took two days to complete the job and removed the old material and left the work zone clean and neat. The price was fair and reasonable. A job well done. I would recommend ABS to anyone looking for basement repairs or in need of a basement solution.
