High quality, great prices, knowledgeable staff, and friendly service. What more could you ask for? I remember as a child going to 84 Lumber on Walden Ave, in Depew, with my daddy and watch the men unloading lumber right off the train. The minute you walk in the store, the smell of lumber is intoxicating. Tim Allen and Al from Home Improvement would pitch a tent and live there, lol. As a woman, I do my best to make my own repairs. They will give me advice on the do's and don't on any job I may encounter. Recently, replacing steps on my my deck. Regular lumber or pressure treated? When to stain, what to use. You get old time service, and don't have to wander around for 10 minutes looking for someone to help you. I highly recommend 84 Lumber for all your lumber and home improvement needs. A gem of a store that many forgot exists with todays big box stores. Stop in and see for yourself.

My parents have been helping me finish a room in my basement and I needed molding to complete it. My usual lumber yard I go to closed down permanently, so we tried 84 Lumber. The employees were helpful and we ended up finding wood that would work. They cut it to fit in the car. I appreciated that they had a variety of options and that they were attentive.
