“My 6 and 9 year old wanted to go for a spa pedicure today, so we decided to find a place in the center of town that we could bike to from our home. It was my first time trying Ellis Nails and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The employees were warm, friendly and totally incredible with my kids. I have brought my kids to nail salons before and some are not welcoming to children. One place we went even refused to paint my son’s toenails because he’s a boy. At Ellis, they didn’t bat an eye about it; they were absolutely wonderful - they even added smiley faces to my boys’ toes! We’ll absolutely be returning and recommending it to friends!“

I walk out of the salon more confident and love the style and color every time. She is an absolute color master. She may specialize in blondes but as a redhead she’s done some incredible things. “I was a walk in and asked to have a number one trim on the sides. My color was fading pretty bad and needed ALOT of TLC so I asked if I could have a color. They were so nice to let me hang out as they tended to thier scheduled clients while fitting me in-between. Super comfortable atmosphere both the ladies that work there and clients were pleasant to talk to. 120% will be going back and reccomend them to anyone!“

I'm delighted since I seldom get my nails done and had difficulty choosing a salon that I could trust with my nails and I'm glad I discovered this particular business. This place is quite unique as a salon as it is set in a beautifully renovated home, but the interior is not only stylish, but clean, professional, and welcoming. I had my nails done by the owner, Lindsey, who was not only really sweet but also very skilled. She did such a great job with my nails and was very knowledgeable; she told me so much helpful information about nails, gel, and shellac that I hadn't known before. The end result was more than I hoped for as the color and paint quality was fantastic and it looks like a natural manicure which was perfect for what I wanted for my nails. It's already been a few days since I went and my nails are still immaculate - not a chip, peel, or imperfection. Next time I'm up by Albany I'll surely visit again for another great manicure. I'll highly reccomend this place for anyone's beauty appointment needs.“
