The owner Doug video chat with us and made us feel comfortable and confident about our choice. The photographer David was awesome. He pays attention to the little details to ensure your pictures come out stunning. The day of the Sweet at the Larkfield (which did a phenomenal job) he was punctual, efficient, and went above and beyond to make sure he got all the great shots. “We have brought our Shiba here twice now (boarding for a week). Staff is great. Some are more knowledgeable about animals than others. But care and kindness is something that we have always seen (that is what matters most). They are also very professional. If there is a concern or request, they will assist you in a timely manner, and everything is noted. We had a few requests since our breed does not take well to other breeds, they were more than accommodating in giving him his own time away from the others, and allowing us to bring his own food (due to allergy) and bowls. One fixed issue we had the first time: our dog came back with kennel cough, we called them solely so they could inform the other pet owners...they surprised us with an email apologizing and asking for a copy of the vet bill(they paid for the whole thing!) Kennel cough is a normal thing (as per our vet), so don't get overly upset if this happens... we get colds on airplanes, yet we still fly! I do suggest bringing their own bowls (food and water) and making sure everything you bring is marked with their name.“

“I have been taking my Guiletta to Studio Paws for years now and I've more than appreciative of the fantastic team! I know my dog is in a safe and healthy environment when she is there for the day. “Wonderful people treat your dog as if they were their own. My dog used to freak out going to the groomers as I found out they didn't know I was there one time and I saw them yelling at the other dogs. There's a place on Commack road and Commack. I then brought them to tails or wagging in Smithtown and they just packed too many dogs in there. They're overworked. They're not the nicest of people. So then I took them to k&a. What a difference! They don't over pack it with the dogs. They treat the dog as if it was their own. My dog's not afraid to go. She actually leads me into the place okay. And they do fantastic work! Highly recommended best groomer I've ever had for my dog“

“This place is the only vet that would accept my new rescue pup these days, as other vets had long wait times and/or were not acccepting new patietns. It was not easy to find them, but im glad I did - the building is in a side street off Jericho turnpike and the building is quite simple. No fancy lights, fragarances, or expensive waiting area - they see the pup, treat her and kiss her goodbye.I cannot quite easily explain it with words, but what comes to mind is - simple bliss. The staff is lovely, the vet is funny and straight to the point. there is no fluff to get your money, if you are looking for fluff and shiny websites or pretty buuldings this place is not for you. They love the pet for what the pet is - a living animal who needs care, and I love that.the first visit was the fastes visit to a vet ( or any doctor for tha tmatter) i ever experienced. in and out in under an hour with all vaccinations, exam, nail trimmed and blood drawn.“

“No complaints here! He’s always punctual and patient with my 3 pups. I know my 3 little “ladies” are feisty and difficult to groom; my son takes hours with only one, but this guy gets the job done in 30-40 minutes each and is not fuzzy about their knotted hair! Yes, they have long curly hair! They’re shihtzus. After their grooming, they look good, smell good and look happy and playful, I don’t see any signs of trauma here, so I’m surprised with the poor reviews & Oscar has not groomed them for over a year because my son had been doing it during the Covid-19 pandemia. He’s not a rookie; he’s groomed dogs for long time!“
