“My mother was 91 when she passed. Her health was failing 2 months prior to her passing. My husband and I pre planned her wake and funeral at that time. We met with John one of the owners. He made it painless. He showed us what was available and we made the choices without any pressures. She passed 3 days before Thanksgiving. I was so grateful that we had pre planned everything. It takes so much of the burden off of the family at the time of death of your loved one’s death. She was in an assisted living facility. When I was called about her death, they asked if I had chose a funeral home, I told them Branch Funeral Home of Smithtown’s telephone number and that was all we had to do besides selecting flowers and bringing an outfit for my mother. The people that are employed at the Branch are very compassionate, patient, and empathetic. We are grateful to John, Anna, Debbie and Charles. At one of the worst times in your life when you lose your mother you want to be in the care of people who are gentle, understanding, and caring. We couldn’t have made a better choice.“
“From our first contact with IJ Morris, referred to them from the funeral home in Florida where our mom made her funeral arrangements, they were thoughtful, efficient, effective, thorough … they made everything relating to the preparation for burial and the funeral totally consistent with our mom’s wishes and the family’s requests. The rabbi recommended was outstanding! We were totally satisfied every step of the way!“
“From the first encounter, less than 24 hours after my husband died, everyone at Chapey were caring and supportive. They helped me navigate a sorrowful experience which helped me plan a memorable memorial to my husband’s life. Then they go above and beyond and invite me to a presentation tonight called “ Reimagining the Holidays After Loss”. This was a truly beautiful experience that went beyond providing ideas to manage through the holiday season. They honored our grief and created a beautiful ritual with prayers, music and a candlelight ceremony that was so touching. It allowed for strangers at each table to feel a connection and for individuals to acknowledge their own grieving process. Thanks to the Chapey family and all of their employees who created this support at this difficult time of the year and always as they provide comfort to those in sorrow.“

“McCourt and Trudden is the ONLY funeral home worth doing buisness with.My fellow Military Brother passed, and Michael Quinn and his team went above and beyond to service our team. I had never seen a service this well done in movies. Every moment within a 3 day event had been planned to perfection, and they had even made special requests unique to the family and my own requests. This is not easy. From a military transfer, to hosting the viewing and funeral service they had orchastrated a reception involving the Airlines, 220 Police memebers to recieve us as we landed, a team of 20 motorcycle police to escort us to the funeral home, proper utilization of the flag and keeping it at half mast, support from the fire department, and even ending it with a couple special songs at our request to symbolize just how important music was to our friends life.I wish I were from New York just for that type of remeberance. Sadly, they shipped me back to California :*(.“

“Tara went above and beyond to make this difficult time, as easy as possible. She made herself available, she was compassionate, very thorough, patient and genuinely cared for our family. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did and how comforting it was to work with her. The funeral home was beautiful and had an elegant display.“
“I used them twice for different family members and would not go anyplace else. My mom's headstone was over 45 years old. I was concerned about the engraving matching what was there and the integrity of the headstone to be engraved. They engraved on site and it matched exactly. The other headstone I recently had purchased, engraved, and delivered to the cemetery. Again, the engraving is beautiful and the headstone is perfect. Jeff and Melissa were both kind and knowledgable in all my interactions with them. My family was pleased with Eternal Memorials and the service we received.“
“A very satisfactory experience, run by professional standards. They cover all the bases. Our family has used James funeral parlor in the past and will use them in the future when needed.“

“I Googled Queen of Peace, which is the cemetery my mother is in, and St. Charles Monument came up as a choice. Every step was smooth. I was kept up to date with the process. And my questions were a answered. The tombstone looks amazing!!! Did an amazing job, thank you!“

“From the moment my sister and I walked into Clayton's Funeral Home to discuss the funeral plans for my nephew, we were treated with compassion, professionalism, kindness and understanding. And when we had some challenges with disruptive mourners, they handled it with grace. (I especially want to thank Eddie for that!) I can't speak highly enough about this wonderful family run business. They took an emotionally confusing time for all and helped us through the process while also giving us our space. I am in agreement with one of your other reviews...if I could give Clayton's a 10 Star review I would! God bless you all!“
“I can't say enough good things about Johnstons' Wellwood Funeral Home and staff members Jessica and Adrian. My older brother was cremated in 2011 and we planned a joint burial with another brother in August 2023. Found out the DAY BEFORE flying into NY that I needed a cremation certificate which we could not locate. Jessica/ Adrian worked hard to locate that and get it to me in time for the burial. What a relief. They really care and I highly recommend their services!“
“We were treated with so much care, patience, sympathy, respect and professionalism from everyone we worked with at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, NY from the beginning to the end!
