“Dr. Eldridge really cares about the animals. I've been to many vets and they all price gouge to the point where owners are forced to make decisions based on finances. To me those vets should not be in business. Yes, all great vets should make a great living, the money and time spent to become a veterinarian warrant that, but neither side should take advantage of the other. Be honest, pay great vets (like Dr. Eldridge) what they deserve, w/o manipulation, and any vets that read this should follow Dr. Eldridge's lead. After repeated visits to our regular vet., and Bear still scratching and keeping me up at night, I decided I needed to do some homework and see if there was such thing as a veterinary dermatologist, and guess what, there is, that would be Dr. Jeanne Budgin, on the upper west side, not to far from Bear and me. I have to tell everyone how happy we are that we saw Dr. Budgin and her dedicated, wonderful team, so informative, and kind, they took such a detailed history about Bear! After a few tests, and some medication for Bear, I'm actually sleeping at night! Bear's happier too, not scratching all of the time. Bear and I thank you! Dr. Budgin and her team are awesome, I highly recommend them.“

“The mix of high+low reviews here is perplexing, but I can only speak to my own experience. I am so grateful that I found ​the Animal Health Center/Vet Village​ -- they gave us extraordinary care. My dog was in​ acute distress and I had seen 3 vets within a week​, including a world renowned ER in Manhattan. All of them could tell me that something was wrong, but were not able to diagnose. All referred me out for further testing at providers that didn't have availability for months​. Eventually I found the Animal Health Center/Vet Village. Dr. Haroush quickly assessed my dog, got him in for tests immediately, and within hours was able to consult with a neurologist, run tests, and provide a full diagnosis. He kept in touch day by day about progress, options, and financial implications. The vet tech and admin staff were kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. Dr. Haroush definitely has alpha surgeon energy, and is laser-focused on animal welfare, and less on sugarcoating things for the pet parent. I can understand if this style doesn't click for everyone. But I trusted his expertise and actually found him to be very compassionate. I see many comments here that say this clinic is expensive. It is, but so is vet care everywhere (again, in my experience. And we may have many factors to blame for that:​ I had already paid an incredible amount at other clinics that yielded no results. I paid a lot here too, but got the service I paid for: timely results, communication, and personalized support. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs full service and is struggling to find it.“
