Absolutely worst experience I have ever came across. I have an energetic, just turned three-year-old and an autistic five-year-old. Desperately trying to find a school that will fit their needs, I spoke to the owner/ instructor on several occasions, specifically about my children and their needs. He made it very clear that he could work with them and please bring them. We showed up to the school, and my kids immediately took off running, as a lot of little boys do. The owner disregarded my children, as if they were not even there. He did not intent to try to stop them, get them or help me. I asked if they were other exits in the building, he said no, which was not true....read full review
This martial arts studio has phenomenal instruction. Grandmaster Moon sits on the advisory commitee for the Taekwondo world headquarters. I am very grateful to have found a school of such a caliber.
My family has been going to JY Moon for almost 4 years now. Multiple children are enrolled as well as 2 adults. We are beyond satisfied with the level of instruction, the professionalism and patience of the staff towards our kids, and the level of expectations that JY Moon Taekwondo has for the children of all different skill levels and ages. It's easy to see why so many of the young adults who have taken classes since they were kids are still training, even coming back during college breaks to train. Another bonus is the summer camp they offer. Great field trips to the pool, hikes in state parks, trips to museums and other outdoor activities. My kids never complain about this camp. Come take a trial class and see why so many families stay for so many years. I wish I'd had this when I was a kid!
