Recently had surgery to remove cataracts. The process at the Cortland Eye Center is a process. But when dealing with your sight there are no shortcuts. Dr. Ferguson is one of the very best doctors I have ever met. She knows what she is doing. She makes recommendations that make sense. She explains everything in terms that are understandable. Her staff is excellent. They are cross trained on every piece of equipment. I know because I asked a few questions. Everyone treats the public with dignity and respect. All questions I asked were taken seriously. While preparing for the procedure, Dr. Ferguson gently talked to me to let me know she was there. Later that evening she called my cell phone to make certain everything was fine. In spite of the fact that after both surgeries I had appointments to see her the very next day. Everything is carefully explained. Additional printed directions were given to me as I needed them. At one point I could not open a protected computer document. So I called and drove down to get what I needed. Again treated with respect and dignity. I love the fact that this is a one stop shop. The Eyewear Boutique has fabulous frames. (My last place had expensive frames that began falling apart as soon as they were worn for more that a week.— another reason I now drive to Cortland for my eye appointments.) Stellar service. A pleasure to have this doctor and her staff take care of you!
