I have subscribed to the 'deluxe' Downey service plan for years. It includes a free annual checkup. During this year's, I showed the technician the pail of water coming from my ancient oil burner. He installed a replacement part and then phoned another technician with more experience on old systems. The two of them spent a good deal of time making adjustments and told me to call Downey if the problem persisted. It did, so I phoned Downey. The more experienced technician spent a long time diagnosing and making adjustments to several different parts of the system. It took about an hour or two. The problem's solved. About one month ago I ran out propane (used for a stove and a clothes drier) on a Sunday. Typically I had s load of clothes to dry. Called Downey, left a message and about 30 mins later Royal called me to say he would get me some gas. He said he couldn't drive the big propane trucks but would hook up a small propane tank to my main tank as a stop cap measure. Royal showed within the hour and I had propane again. I just want to add that Royal was friendly and courteous and an obvious asset to Downey Energy.

It’s so refreshing to be the recipient of such personable, fast, competent and all around kind service.I cannot recommend these guys enough. For oil, propane, install, service, emergencies.
