we called Pete with an emergency sewer blockage this morning. Since this was a Sunday I knew we were going to have a problem getting someone today. We explained the problem and he arrived within an hour and he had everything up and running before noon. We can’t thank him enough for being so professional, prompt and considerate of our needs. We recommend him wholeheartedly.
Pete the plumber is a first rate plumber and a very honest one. He will not charge you for services you don't need. I had what I thought was a broken garbage disposal and a clogged drain. Pete came by very promptly and removed the clogs and this enabled the disposal to work and the drain to run smoothly. Another plumbing company had come by earlier and proceeded to tell me that I would need new pipes installed in my basement as well as a new garbage disposal. They wanted to charge me more than $4000 for services and pipe replacement that I didn't need. If you need a plumber check with Pete the Plumber first. He doesn't rip people off because he has integrity!
I have owned a two-family on Park Avenue in Schenectady for about 25 years. I have used Pete to unclog my main sanitary sewer line 2 or 3 times over the years. I have also had him replace 2 water heaters (that he doesn’t do anymore). Every time I have used him he’s been terrific. His prices are fair. He doesn’t ‘come up with extra problems’, like some of the larger HVAC companies do. He simply gets the job done.
Each time I’ve needed him I had emergencies. He has always gotten to me quickly.
