The salon closed, probably due to COVID. I never set foot on her salon, but used Angela's services back in June. She charged me $300 for highlights, cut and blow. I reached out to her and she is charging me $250! For a retouch! She is insane with her prices. The retouch alone is $200!! I have worrked salons before as a manager, her prices are ridiculous and outrageous. She does good work, but no way will I pay someone this amount for my hair. (Btw I have very very VERY!! Thin short hair)

This place is good for women will curly thick hair, like myself however they still felt as if I didn't need rollers so I decided to give them a shot and let them blow dry my hair without it. Lulu did a good job but it wasn't the best, I still felt as if I needed rollers. She did a great job with blow drying it in the top of my head but towards the bottom she didn't do a good job. It's still frizzy like and i know why.. I need rollers! She did cut my ends which was good they don't look bad but I still was nervous I don't trust anyone with my ends unless it's my mom. Anyway, they're VERY expensive I had to pay with 2 different cards just to pay them. I feel like for the prices they have they shouldn't be located in the Bronx they need to be located in Manhattan. I could of gone to another Dominican salon and only pay $35! They act very boujee with their prices and for a salon being in the Bronx they shouldn't have such ridiculous prices. The owner should think about relocating to Manhattan. Only giving 2 star rating because it was close to home and they gave me a discount. I'm never coming back here.

I came here two months ago. I didn't leave a review then because I wanted to see how my hair turned out over time. I went in for a burgundy dye job. She did make the time to see me even though I was tight on time. She also made sure multiple people helped me, which is why I am giving 2 stars. However, starting the next day my hair color started bleeding out. After a few days, the color had faded. I called and she told me to come in for a touch up. She styled my hair and charged me additionally for the charge even though the touch up was free. I asked about my hair color bleeding, she said that with red hair dye that's what happens and if I don't come in for glazes my hair color will come out. Well, here I am two months later and parts of my hair have burgundy, some pets have an orange tint and some parts look bleached. I'm not entirely sure what was done to my hair and now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed.
