Seaway Marine Group has completed two significant jobs for us; one on an emergency basis, one as a planned upgrade. We are on a private island on the St Lawrence Seaway. The island’s location is such that prevailing winds and storms cause significant wave action. Several years ago we had a late October storm that pushed our boat port and 10 tons of anchors away from the island, collapsing a 25’ attached ramp into the water. In the spring, Seaway Marine responded to my call to evaluate the boat port damage and provide an estimate to reposition it, retrieve and repair the ramp and reset the anchors. We enthusiastically recommend Seaway Marine Group! We engaged Seaway Marine Group on a shoreline protection project, installing a rock boulder wall. Our cottage is on Lake Ontario on the dunes in Sandy Creek, which presents some unique access and project challenges. Right from the start, Jennifer was incredible to deal with. Jake patiently spent an hour with me in a winter storm standing on the beach, going over options and listening to my concerns. Jennifer quickly turned around a quote for the job, and once we accepted, got everything rolling. They handled everything...read full review

Because it was not done properly and instead of using substantial boulders the contractor (a local well known company) used smaller rocks and it was almost completely washed away within a year. For over 18 months I asked the contractor to redo with large boulders and that I was not looking for him to do it for nothing but was very willing to pay...read full review
