We had a chicken get hurt, and this was the only place that would look at her. They fit us in the next day. Everybody there is so kind and compassionate. Our chicken had to go in for the day. When we brought her in, Helen (vet tech) worked with my daughter to reassure her that her chicken would be comfortable there. Later that day, we found out that we were going to have to put her down. While we were there, Helen had popped in and told us that she had given my daughter's chicken treats throughout the day. I can't explain what that meant to us. Dr. Hess stayed and answered our questions, so we knew there wasn't anything else we could realistically do to save her....read full review

We brought our giant Flemish rabbit Winston there last night as he stopped eating and pooping, the staff were all so kind, sent us home with meds and antibiotics, but unfortunately he passed away this morning ? I would highly recommend them, they called to check on him and when I said he passed, I could feel the love and kindness coming through the phone, I wish I could remember their names but my focus was on Winston

Dr. Laura Wade is THE most qualified Avian Specialist in Western New York state. Look her up at Specialized Care for Avian and Exotics Pets in Clarence, Ny. She has done surgery twice for my Blue and Gold macaw who has had two growths in his eye. She has also managed his over-growing beak which was damaged 20 years ago. She will make house calls with one of the Vet Techs if you can't get to the clinic/hospital. She has done that for me on 2 occasions and checks out all of my parrots. Delightful lady and very skilled.
