“Brought my pup here yesterday for the first time and I will be using them exclusively for pet grooming from now on!I found them online and booked the appointment through the website for just a couple days out- such an easy process! Brought my 7 year old Cockapoo in for her haircut, teeth cleaning and nail grinding yesterday and what a great experience! Leah at the front desk was so friendly and made me feel like my girl was in really good hands. Only an hour and a half later, I received a text that they were just about done and I could head over to pick her up.She came running out to greet me looking BEAUTIFUL, clean and so so so happy! Josh did her service and he was an absolute delight to speak with and assured me that my baby girl was so good and easy to work with. Her haircut was done exactly the way we like, she looked and smelled so clean and my pup seemed so happy and comfortable- which is really the most important thing!I couldn’t happier with this place and my husband and I are so excited that we found them! Will be exclusively bringing both our dogs here for any grooming needs going forward! I’m sure everyone is wonderful but Josh was so fantastic that I’ll be making sure to book with him every time! :)“

“Wonderful people treat your dog as if they were their own. My dog used to freak out going to the groomers as I found out they didn't know I was there one time and I saw them yelling at the other dogs. There's a place on Commack road and Commack. I then brought them to tails or wagging in Smithtown and they just packed too many dogs in there. They're overworked. They're not the nicest of people. So then I took them to k&a. What a difference! They don't over pack it with the dogs. They treat the dog as if it was their own. My dog's not afraid to go. She actually leads me into the place okay. And they do fantastic work! Highly recommended best groomer I've ever had for my dog“

“I have been going to Animal Medical of Centereach for many years, starting with Dr. Grecco and now seeing Dr. Morrison and Dr. Pancari. The care my pets have received has been exceptional. Everyone at the office shows a true interest in their health & well being. All my pets have been rescues, each with their own special needs, & everyone here cares not only about their health, but also about those special needs. They make them comfortable, & really give full & complete exams. It's difficult to find someone to entrust my furbabies's health to, but I am happy with their care here.“

“I just used Patken Photography for my daughter Sophia's Sweet 16 photos and the service was amazing from the beginning. The owner Doug video chat with us and made us feel comfortable and confident about our choice. The photographer David was awesome. He pays attention to the little details to ensure your pictures come out stunning. The day of the Sweet at the Larkfield (which did a phenomenal job) he was punctual, efficient, and went above and beyond to make sure he got all the great shots. “We have brought our Shiba here twice now (boarding for a week). Staff is great. Some are more knowledgeable about animals than others. But care and kindness is something that we have always seen (that is what matters most). They are also very professional. If there is a concern or request, they will assist you in a timely manner, and everything is noted. We had a few requests since our breed does not take well to other breeds, they were more than accommodating in giving him his own time away from the others, and allowing us to bring his own food (due to allergy) and bowls. One fixed issue we had the first time: our dog came back with kennel cough, we called them solely so they could inform the other pet owners...they surprised us with an email apologizing and asking for a copy of the vet bill(they paid for the whole thing!) Kennel cough is a normal thing (as per our vet), so don't get overly upset if this happens... we get colds on airplanes, yet we still fly! I do suggest bringing their own bowls (food and water) and making sure everything you bring is marked with their name.“

“No complaints here! He’s always punctual and patient with my 3 pups. I know my 3 little “ladies” are feisty and difficult to groom; my son takes hours with only one, but this guy gets the job done in 30-40 minutes each and is not fuzzy about their knotted hair! Yes, they have long curly hair! They’re shihtzus. After their grooming, they look good, smell good and look happy and playful, I don’t see any signs of trauma here, so I’m surprised with the poor reviews & Oscar has not groomed them for over a year because my son had been doing it during the Covid-19 pandemia. He’s not a rookie; he’s groomed dogs for long time!“
