“Last week was my first physical therapy experience. I made an appointment with Movement Concepts in Garden City. I was in so much pain, sciatica, that I could barely walk or move without assistance. When I left, I was moving so much better (first visit). Nick, the PT, put me through simple exercises and suggested I do them at home prior to my next visit. I'm walking and moving so much better (no assistance). I would recommend Movement Concepts to anyone needing PT. I recommend Nick as your PT he is great.“

“Kelly helped save me. This time last year in so much back and leg pain. I could barely walk around and on top of that I was pregnant. I had been seeing a PT and chiropractor before Kelly, but with those previous treatments I had been getting worse an worse as my pregnancy progressed. “I have been attending Physical Therapy at Bell Plaza P.T. for the past 3+ months. From Day 1 (the day of my initial P.T. evaluation), I was impressed by Tom's vast knowledge of the mechanics of the human body. Since 2018, I have visited many specialists who have either sent me for imaging with little to no follow-up options and/or explanations or have provided only short-term resolutions for what turned out to be a "long-term" injury. Upon reaching Tom, I finally felt as if my medical issues were "heard" and a customized exercise therapy program was initiated. I am a former Division 2 collegiate athlete, so I appreciate that Tom and his staff consistently challenge me (without causing additional injury, of course) and check in to ask for my feedback (regarding pain level, etc.) at EVERY visit: taking my feedback into account and altering the exercise program to promote continuous success. As a result of Tom's rigorous P.T. regime, I've been able to sleep more comfortably have been able to eliminate the use of prescription and over-the-counter medication for the purpose of pain management. If you're local to Queens, you should know that Bell Plaza P.T. is a wonderful, supportive environment; people of all ages and abilities visit to participate in therapy and Tom and his staff makes everyone feel welcome(d)! Most importantly, if you're considering attending Bell Plaza P.T., you should know that the staff is VERY generous with their time because they encourage patients to fully complete their designated exercises in order to achieve the best outcomes. All in all, I highly recommend that you consider visiting Tom for your initial evaluation as you, too, will find yourself equally impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Note: The office also provides text message reminders for appointments (which can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance), which is very helpful for busy professionals!
