First, let me say I think Dr. Martin is a fine vet - very knowledgeable and great surgical skill. Bedside manner is notable as well. The staff and the vet techs do their best with apparently little orientation time. That is the only reason I am rating this clinic a three. The business side of the clinic is highly problematic. Extremely long waits for appointments, scheduling logistics that don't work for the client or their pets, forcing non-compete contracts with their vets which greatly exacerbates the local shortage of vet care, etc. After our last experience when our two older cats were so stressed by the long wait that they "wet their beds" with drool,... read full review

Dr. Dengler has joined the Canton Animal Clinic and has a wealth of knowledge on horses. She did a thorough examination, was not in a rush and took the time to explain what I needed to do for my miniature horse. He now is recovering and on the medication to help his condition. She also knows about horse nutrition and with her recommendations is doing so much better. I am very thankful she has joined Dr. Amy Thompson in the Clinic.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. If you have pet insurance and actually take care of your animals - not to mention remain cordial and polite with the staff there, as anyone should be, they are fantastic. We brought in a kitten we just adopted who had ear mites, and an infection. They were very gentle, kind, and supportive of us. They took great care of my kitten! If you can't afford the vet bills to make sure your animal is in proper health - don't own an animal. They're not belongings, they're living creatures that require care. This clinic is fabulous and will be our Maven's primary care facility!
