Joe and crew removed and replaced an old existing brick paver patio, front and side walkways. They also installed a new drainage system, tying in my sump pumps, pool drain, and down spouts into the existing municipal storm drain system. Anyone who lives in the Clay area can probably relate to how important a fully functioning drainage system is! Joe and crew are definitely advocates in "Doing it right the first time". “I needed a new septic tank and this company did an outstanding job. They came back in a few days to smooth out the ground that had been disturbed. Then they planted new grass with came up very quickly and fully. Beautiful grass. Then, sometime later they came back to replace the pavers that had been destroyed by their giant backhoe. “TL;DR Ballantyne care about this local climate, cultivating diverse gardens, and have a range of plants.

I used to work at Lowe's, and I mean no disrespect to Lows, but we would get a flood of plants and watering instructions, from bromeliads to roses, to lilies, to vegetables, to everything else. But it didn't translate to sustainable watering and care. Some would be flooded and some would get nothing. Epiphytes would be doused and hibiscus would be browned. Every week, we would send out struggling plants on clearance.

But at Ballantyne, I was impressed that they had different sections for native plants and plants that encouraged pollinators. Even water plants. They had solid astilbe plants and ferns.

Ballantyne is a great resource. If I need plants, I will go to them and recommend them. As a bonus, they also have a very pretty cat and chicken.“
